PokerStars Weekly Round-up – June 9th

100 Billion Hands Celebration
PokerStars 100 Billion Hands Celebration is now well under way, with the Greatest Ever Hand in the History of PokerStars still open to the public vote until Monday, June 10 and the winner set to be announced on June 11. A poll of poker media, which was revealed yesterday, saw ‘The One Where Jason Mercier Arrives’ voted as their greatest hand. Will the public see it the same? Not according to the current leaderboard which has ‘The One Where Daniel Calls It’ out in front with three days to go.

The final 300 milestone hands countdown to the 100-billonth hand begins today (Friday), with $2 million set to be awarded to players in real money ring games across the next week. To see the current hand count and be in with a chance of winning cash, log into the PokerStars client or go to The 100-billionth hand itself, which see $1 million given away on that single hand, is projected to take place next Thursday, June 13.

In addition there is a host of other ways for players to win money over the next four weeks, incorporating play in ring games, tournaments, and Sit & Go’s, as a further $3 million is set to be given away. Check out for more information.
