The number of World Champions already crowned in this year’s World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). There are 66 events scheduled to take place in this year’s tournament series, with a minimum guaranteed prize of $1,250,000 going to the winner of the $5,200 Main Event. The number of days left until the biggest poker event outside of Las Vegas, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure gets underway on January 5, 2014. PCA Mega Path satellites are running several times a day, and players can buy in for as little as 10 FPPs. This year’s PCA Main Event prize package is worth $15,560. The amount won by UK player Tom “hitthehole” Middleton in the EPT Barcelona Main Event last weekend. A total of 1,234 players took their seats in the €5,300 tournament, creating a total prize pool of €5,984,900. The festival attracted over 9,000 tournament entries, and paid out over €17 million in prizes across the 13-day event.

Top prize at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Melbourne event, won by Australian Poker Hall of Famer Billy “the Croc” Argyros. He defeated a field of 309 entrants to secure the top spot, and his final payout was the result of a deal struck with his heads-up opponent Bowdy Tolhopf.

The number of days left until the Latin American Poker Tour Season 6 hits Panama. Last year, Team PokerStars Pro Leo Fernandez took down the first prize of $171,930. He said that his win was like “touching heaven with your hand”.

The number of players Vanessa Rousso battled to win the World Poker Tour Foundation Ladies Night invitational tournament.  As winner of the tournament, she picked up a WPT World Championship Season XII seat worth $25,000, plus $5,000 was donated in her name to the National Council for Research on Women (NCRW) charity.
