PokerStars Expands Casino Offerings

By: PSO Admin @ 06:50 (EDT) / 1005 / Comment ( 0 )

Blackjack and Roulette are now available on the PokerStars mobile apps, and new casino games – including Slots – have been added to the desktop software, PokerStars announced recently.

“Our players tell us that Slots games are their favourite casino games and we’re especially happy to be providing them with some of the most popular titles in the world,” said Sam Hobcraft, Director of Casino for PokerStars and Full Tilt.

The latest upgrade of PokerStars software on mobile and desktop is now widely available to players in jurisdictions where PokerStars casino games are already available, representing approximately half of the PokerStars real money player base.

The PokerStars mobile app is available on both Android and iOS platforms, which enables players to benefit from the safe and trusted PokerStars casino experience wherever and whenever they have their mobile device.

The Roulette and Blackjack games offer similar features to the desktop version, where PokerStars’ unique multiplayer options are proving to be very popular. The multiplayer tables enable players to chat and interact socially – and for Blackjack players to play ‘third base’ and save (or ruin!) the whole table’s hands.

There is an initial choice of Slots now available at PokerStars, offering a range of different themes, stakes, paylines, reels, and features. The slots games include:
• 7 Lucky Dwarfs • Ali Baba • Bars and Bells
• Beowulf • Big Bad Wolf • Chilli Gold
• Dragon Slot • Firestorm • Golden Rome
• Goldilocks • KGB Bears • Khepri
• Light Racers • Little Red • Mad Piñatas
• Monster Mash • Queen of Thrones • Superman: Last Son of Krypton
• Sinbad • Supernova • The Voyages of Sinbad
• Treasure Island • Zombie Rush

PokerStars has added three new table games to its online casino offering, including:

• Baccarat -
PokerStars will offer the popular casino card game, also known internationally as ‘Punto Banco’. Baccarat is most famous as the game of choice for high stakes gamblers in various movies and pop culture.

• Heads-Up Hold’em -
Heads-Up Hold’em is inspired by Texas Hold’em, but turns this classic game of poker into a fun casino game where players compete against the dealer to form the best five-card poker hand. Notably, the game includes large prizes if your monster hand loses at showdown, with prizes of up to 500 times the original bet on offer for a losing straight flush.

• Double Ball Roulette -
Double Ball Roulette is an exciting variant of Roulette that uses two balls instead of one. It gives you double the action, with two balls determining the result of each spin. The game has the same betting layout as other Roulette games, but offers different payouts, including a huge 1300/1 payout when both balls land in the same numbered slot.

In addition, one player at the table will have the option to control the launching of the balls each round.
