Total guaranteed prizepool of the 2015 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), running from May 10-24. The schedule features 46 events, each with a low, medium and high buy-in version (138 tournaments in total). The High Main Event carries a $1 million guaranteed first place prize as part of the PokerStars Makes Millionaires promotion; more on that below.

The benchmark prize in PokerStars’ latest campaign, PokerStars Makes Millionaires. Over the next eight weeks, the world’s largest poker site aims to make five more millionaires through a series of promotions and tournaments. To date, over 150 players have won prizes of $1,000,000+ through PokerStars online and live events.

First prize in the EPT Malta main event, won by Jean Montury of France after a heads-up deal was made with eventual runner-up Valentin Messina. 2014 PCA champ, Dominic Panka, bowed out in third place. 895 players ponied up the €5,300 buy-in, creating a €4,340,750 prizepool.

First prize in the FTOPS XXVIII Main Event, won by ‘potta_x_potta’ of Malta. The $1,000 buy-in re-entry tournament drew a field of 1,260, creating a prizepool of $1,197,000 which easily surpassed the $1 million guarantee.

Total number of players in the $22 buy-in MicroMillions Main Event. The enormous tournament was won by ‘BgsaPnaples’ of Canada, who took home $110,742.52.

Number of tournaments won by Polish player, Dzmitry Urbanovich at EPT Malta. The incredible feat started with victory in the special €25k High Roller for €572,300, followed by victories in the  €1,100 Deepstack Turbo Big Ante event, €5,200 Turbo and finally, €220 Crazy Pineapple. His total winnings during the festival were €729,545.
