Here's some of the more interesting numbers that caught our attention this week.

$9,000,000
Guaranteed prize pool in the 9th Anniversary Sunday Million, which will take place on Sunday, March 15 at 14.30 ET. It was originally scheduled on International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8. IWD is a huge cultural event in many non-English speaking countries with a total population of over 2 billion people, and is often described as the combined equivalent of the US/UK celebrations of “Valentine’s Day” and “Mother’s Day”.  First prize in the Sunday Million will be at least $1 million. Satellites into the $215 buy-in event start from just $1 or 50 FPPs, and are running around the clock.

There are three remaining online qualifier seats up for grabs – one for each of the three live heats that will take place during the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final on April 30, May 1 and May 2. But players need to be quick! Online qualifiers finish this coming Sunday.

Georgios ‘GeoManousos’ Sotiropoulos’ score for winning the latest Sunday Million event. The Greek player has been on a heater for the past year or so, having finished second in the EPT Prague Main Event in December 2013 for €700k, first in a PokerStars Super Tuesday online tournament for $120k in October 2014, and first again in a €1k side event just three weeks ago at EPT Deauville. Now he can add one of the most coveted titles in poker to his resumé.
