Here's the most interesting numbers from the world of PokerStars this week.

Total prize money awarded in TCOOP 2014, which finished on Sunday night. The Main Event winner was ‘Riverlan_88’ from Sweden, who pocketed $277,526.55 as part of a six-way deal.

Prize pool at the APPT Aussie Millions Main Event, currently playing out at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. A total of 668 players bought in – an increase of 39 on last year’s field – generating a first-place prize of AU $1,600,000.

The ‘Genes in Space’ mobile app has been downloaded more than 70,000 times since launch on Monday. The app was launched by Cancer Research UK this week and it analyses genetic data while you play, enabling anyone to help accelerate cancer research.  Rational Group funded this important citizen-science project.
