Total prize pool from the recently completed Season 11 of the European Poker Tour (EPT). Over the seven festival stops, a total of 60,731 entries came from 339 scheduled tournaments. EPT Season 12 kicks off in August in Barcelona, which is the most popular stop on the tour.

Guaranteed prize pool for the 2015 Spring Championship of Online Poker, which began last Sunday and has already seen some several high-profile winners, including Sorel ‘zangbezan24’ Mizzi, EPT 9 Grand Final champion, Mohsin ‘sms9231’ Charania, and Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, who won two events in two days.

First prize in the LAPT 8 Panama Main Event, won by 22-year-old, Shakeeb Kazemipur. He overcame a field of 422 players to take the title home to his native Canada, and the lion’s share of a $930,932 prizepool.

Buy-in for the inaugural Eureka Poker Tour Hamburg Main Event. The 10-day festival features 14 events with buy-ins ranging from €60 to the €2,200 Eureka High Roller event. The Main Event has a daily hard cap of 200 players with no alternates; updates on how many seats left will be posted daily on the Eureka Facebook page as well as at the casino and on the Eureka Poker Tour website.

Number of millionaires made so far as part of the ‘PokerStars Makes Millionaires’ campaign. Two of the new millionaires came courtesy of the ‘Millionaire Finals’, in which players qualified via a series of challenges and All-In Shootouts. ‘citoject’ of Bulgaria and ‘JUANYI828’ of Taiwan became the envy of the poker world as they became PokerStars’ newest millionaires. The two tournaments can be viewed as a replay in the client by going to the Main Lobby > Tournaments and then searching for ‘Replay’ or ‘Millionaire’.

Four millionaire winners came from three separate tournaments at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final. First was the €100k SHR, which was taken down by well-known US pro Erik Seidel for €2,015,000, with Dzmitry Urbanovich from Poland also winning €1,446,600 for second place. Subsequently, 21-year-old British player Charlie Carrel won the €25k HR for €1,114,000, before Adrian Mateos became Spain’s first ever EPT Main Event winner, taking home the first prize of €1,082,000 at just 20 years of age.

The other two millionaires came from two $1m Spin & Go’s. Russian player ‘CccpVodka’ won the first one on April 23, while Poland’s ‘bladsonpoker won the second on April 27 while playing on the PokerStars Mobile app.

Number of ‘COOP titles won by Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson after a record sixth victory in SCOOP yesterday. He moved away from Shaun ‘shaundeeb’ Deeb, who has five SCOOP titles, by winning heads-up against Dan ‘djk123’ Kelly, who himself was seeking a record-tying seventh ‘COOP title, in the SCOOP 13-H $2,100 Stud event. Anderson won $36,600.36 after doing a deal with Kelly. Deeb himself came fourth in the event. Both Deeb and Anderson are now tied on seven ‘COOP titles.
