100 Billion Hands Celebration
PokerStars’ 100 Billion Hands Celebration comes to an end this weekend, as five weeks’ worth of prize-giving signs off with a $1 million Ultimate Freeroll tournament. Players can enter the tourney by making a deposit or taking part in trivia freerolls. Also still running is the Zoom and BOOM! promotion, which gives players the chance to win cash prizes by winning post-flop with the hand Ks-Kc and using the BOOM! Hand Replayer to share it. By the time the 100 Billion Hands Celebration finishes, PokerStars will have awarded more than $5 million to its players.

Online Majors
The latest winner of the Sunday Million is ‘huuuz’ from Brazil, who won $180,669.83 after topping a field of 6,244 on June 23. The overall prize pool was close to $1.25 million. Check out the report on the PokerStars Blog

A couple of days later and ‘Magarden’ from Germany claimed victory in the $1k Super Tuesday tourney. He beat 461 players to first place and won $82,456.81 after a heads-up deal with fellow German ‘CrownUpGuy’. Read the report on the PokerStars Blog.

Heads-Up tournament additions
There have been some additions to the Heads-Up tournament roster on PokerStars in the most recent client update, with the following now available to play:

$200, $300 and $500 Pot Limit Omaha Hyper tourneys

VIP Club Live
The next PokerStars VIP Club Live party is just over two weeks away, with Vancouver hosting the event on July 13. Attendees will get the chance to meet members of Team PokerStars, along with other VIPs and PokerStars staff, including Head of Poker Communications’ Lee Jones. There will also be free food and drink, plus games and activities.

UKIPT Series 2
The UK & Ireland Poker Tour Series shuffles up for a second time at PokerStars LIVE at The Hippodrome Casino in the heart of London this coming weekend. The £275 tournament runs from today (Friday) until June 30, and is expected to be a sellout with a 400-player cap in place.
