MicroMillions 5
PokerStars’ incredibly popular micro-stakes series is entering the final weekend with 71 events completed. To date MicroMillions 5 has had a total of 911,595 entries, with $4,820,838.26 in prize money awarded.

The biggest winner so far is ‘MankeyAnkles’ from Ireland. He has won $33,568.84, with the majority of that total coming from a victory in event 32 – the $11 Sunday Storm Special Edition. The only player to make two final tables so far, though, is ‘Running Goot’ from Canada, who came first and fifth in events 35 and 36 respectively, both of which had fields of more than 4,000 players.

In terms of sheer value, it’s hard to top the winner of event 71 – ‘musashi-sens’ – who satellited in for 70 FPP and won nearly $5k, which gave him an ROI of 432,126%. In addition, he took 17 knockout bounties at $5.25 each for a total of $89.25.

The player currently top of the MicroMillions Leader Board, however, is ‘bastet204’ from Germany. He leads second-placed ‘FENOMENICO’ by 70 points, but with nearly 30 events still to go, there’s plenty of time for anyone to make a run for the first place prize of a $5,200 WCOOP Main Event ticket.

The €1,100 Main Event, which heads into Day 2 today (Friday) has smashed the Eureka tour’s record for biggest Main Event, with 407 players beating the previous best of 306. The bubble will burst at some point today, with 48 players set to make the money. The final table will take place this coming Sunday with a first prize of €93,000 up for grabs. Guinness World Record Certificates

For those that were part of the action, Guinness has made it possible to get a personalized certificate in a ‘Record Holder’ card frame, which is packaged in a Guinness World Record envelope.
The cost to receive the personalized certificate is £20 (or equivalent amount depending on local currency) plus postage and packaging, and can be ordered from the online Guinness store – http://store.guinnessworldrecords.com/product_info.php?products_id=32. Players just need to click ‘Add to Basket’ and then enter the following information:

On the next page players can enter their name as they want it to appear on the certificate and then should follow the instructions to place the order.
