How many bad beats can you take!

By: PokerIggy @ 15:46 (EST) / 699 / Comment ( 5 )

So yesterday I playes a 3 hour session. It started really bad and it only got worse the longer I played. I have never run so much under EV in one session. After getting smacked around the table I ended up 5BI -EV and started to tilt. I really need to get that under control as this can make my sessions even more dramatic. So here some examples of hands I had to take:

Hand 1:

Wow they both hit the only card that would make me lose the hand!

Hand 2:

Ok. This wasn't played really well. My squeeze kind of play is a bit out of the ordinary. But ok I got calld by Q9s. Ofcourse I lost the hand, but hey it just wasn't meant to be.

Hand 3:

Again. AI with a better hand. Again he hits his ace.

Hand 4:

What was he thinking by calling my raises? Should I have played this hand differently?

Hand 5:

Ok. I need no give this guy some credit by just flatting my small blind steal with AK. I had put him on something as QJ, QT. because of this. But still sucks he calls my bets and hits his higher streight.

Hand 6:

Ok. So this is an interesting hand as we are pretty deep stacked. Do we believe him or not? He plais 27/16/ 3B 0 / AF 0.8 (62 hands). So I'm actually wondering if I could have played this hand differently. Maybe check the turn back and fold on a river raise?

Ok, So that's it for now. I just had to write about some of the hands I played. Hope my -EV runs are now ending and I can start building my BR back up again.

To be continued....

Cheers.
