A Psycho plays poker and talks about it

Hello folks!

We are officially in the last month of 2013, and the end of the Time-Vault promotion is near.

I have tried throughout the year to stay true to the terms and conditions of it with some added value to that the occasional Big Bang ticket. Truth be told, I did manage the blog part but the forum thread part was more difficult and my mood swings made the hand posting part seem like a terrible effort as I didn't consider many of them noticeable. Maybe it is an advancement as a player to consider all hands as a normal part of the game, maybe it is the "so what" approch. I hope it is the former as it means a step forward, tilt is no longer an option if you "expect the unexpected". The latter would indicate a lack of interest which could lead to indifference to the game in general. That would mean no more poker as a fan or an evolving player and off you go for a new interest, old chum!

Although I intend to recapitulate the whole year's events and progress at a later post, I thought I'd let you know that I'm still on track and "something outta nothing" is still working.

I have to admit that being expected to make two blog posts a month, binding as it might have been was a lot of fun too. I did put effort to make them enjoyable and not some telegraphic progress reports and it was rewarding. Some great comments and the general feeling of being part of a large community with wit, dedication and lots of fun in playing poker and discussing it, made it well worth.

My heart is still one of a free-roller, but I have experimented with other types of tourneys and even some cash games - a real disaster. So before the year ends, and having some T$ from the MMs satellites, I had an idea to try my game in some S'n'Gs, namely the $0.25 45-man ones. I will play at least 20 of them until the end of the month and see how it goes. (I need to find new areas anyway as my free-rolling skills seem to have reached a dead-end, I tire easily these last months).

So staring today, Sit'n'Gos is the name of the game. Wish me luck, people and I will let you know how it unfolded soon.

Good luck at the tables!!!
