Confession # 10 - Plan to get better? I don't need no stinking plan....uhm, well actually I do Anyone who wishes to improve their poker game needs to have a true plan of action if they wish to get better. This is the plan that I will use to make me a better Sit and Go player. It seems long and drawn out, but I think it's going to be well worth it. Step 1 - Poker Re-Education - Poker Knowledge - Basics - Skill set - Concepts - Terminology - Math Knowledge - Poker Software Step 2 - Poker Psychology - Mental Game - Tells - Meditation, NLP or Hypnosis? - Player profiling Step 3 - Poker Training Plan - Reading - Quizzes - Using training Software Step 4 - Record Keeping - Poker Diary - Poker Journal - Player Profiling Step 5 - Bankroll Management Step 6 - Sit and Go Specific Education and Training - Collin Moshman - Sit and Go Strategy - Phil Shaw - Secrets of Sit'n'gos - Rick Braddy - Secrets of Sit and Go's - Thomas Kennedy - Sit and Go Strategy - Sit and Go Wizard - ICM training software - Online Strategy Articles - ICM Step 7 - Pre-play preparation and play time strategy Step 8 - Post play analysis Step 9 - Mind, Body, and Soul Step 10 - Progress Checks This is it, the steps to my plan, but I'm not done yet.... look for a blog on each step that I'm taking as I continue to work out the details. If you feel I'm leaving something out, or even if there's too much, then please feel free to comment. Thanks, Ric, AkA Punky159
