THE UNEMPLOYED

"Just gonna make it short and sweet;" I started my new job today with SDT in New Orleans. Going from $19 an hour to $14 and $15 in 60 days is a bitch; But it's that or unemployment of $258 a week and no job at all! Well anyway if your wondering i am driving a roll-off truck and so far i like the hours and the work. The hours are mostly 10-13hr days 4-5 days a week from 4:30am-5:30 and 6 sometimes. Well enough about work let's talk about some poker now! For a day or so after having a few bad games; And mostly getting caught on the bubble! I began to think like everyone does that, maybe it was something with my game that i was doing wrong? But then i had to realize that i was just suffering from a very small yet painful run of variance. Well after coming to grips with poker as we all must do ever so often; I began to make a run at the PokerStars step tournament. Playing in these steps have never really been too appealing to me,mostly because you cannot cash out the tickets when you advance. Well anyway i played step one/then 2/ and now im on 3 and hoping tonight to advance to step four! So wish me luck because i really should be in bed right now. I have to be at work for 4:30 am but i have been thinking about playing this step 3 level ticket all day while dropping loads. Right now i am in good shape and st ill have a full table at the 25/50 level but i feel very good about advancing; And moving on to the next level of play. P.S EVERYONE WAS PLAYING PRETTY SOLID AND I HAD NO NOTES ON ANYONE AT THE TABLE UNTIL THIS!
