A Very Interesting Stats

I requested a tournament history when I won my first PSO Skill League this month. Using the hand replayer, I am planning to recreate a couple of hands that I would like to review in my free time, and I found a very interesting statistics about the field.

With the records below, the Russian Federation had the most number of players, taking almost 28% of the field; but fared poorly. I guess, looking at the almost 124K registered PSO members to date, around 20-30% represents the Russian Federation.

Here's the story of the Tourney:
  1. Among the 9,594 entries, there are 94 countries represented.
  2. Among the 9,594 entries, RUSSIAN FEDERATION had the biggest representation of 2,661 or 27.74% of the field.
  3. Among the 9,594 entries, ALGERIA, ANGOLA, BAHRAIN, FIJI, INDONESIA, MACAO, MALTA, NICARAGUA, PAKISTAN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, AND ZIMBABWE had only 1 player each for a share of 0.01% of the field.
  4. Among the 9,594 entries, 8 countries were represented in the FINAL TABLE: Philippines (2), Argentina, Russian Federation, Israel, Czech Republic, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
