Challenge Week #3 rollercoaster

By: Sentras @ 16:45 (EST) / 267 / Comment ( 0 )

So I'm already 3 weeks into my challenge. I'm so proud of myself to still be playing every single day and over 7k hands a week. Every day, every week I see as a victory as I get closer to the victory of my challenge.

Although the results this week weren't there cashwise. I do feel I had a good week. I mostly lost all my profits of the week in 1 day. But it did bring me doubting myself for some moments. Am I really good enough? Can I really beat this game? Was I just lucky before?... But what I did then was most important. I just played again the next day focusing on playing a great day. It got my focus, positivism back and I'll keep on going.

Rough patches will come and so far you could say it's been rather easy sailing for what's to come of rough patches in the future. But the idea is to get back up and keep on swinging. You'll eventually get there.

This week I'm down, which makes me down 2 weeks and 1 week up. But all that matters is I'm still up!

My current bankroll: 428,83 $

I'm currently going to be away from home for 2 weeks and I'll have to play on my portable. Sadly I'm inable to run Holdemanager properly. It somehow doesn't save and record my hands played. That combined with a small screen, which only makes me able to play 2 tables of zoom at a time. Therefor I decided to play 2 tables of 50NL zoom. I have all hands and notes loaded in my hud and pokerstars. So plenty of reads on the regs. I feel I can make this call as there is the same amount of money in play and I can focus harder on 2 tables.

If for some reason I drop 3 stacks, I'll drop to 25NL. It's definately a possibilty but I'm willing to take the variance route. It also gives me a feel for 50NL. I've been playing there now for my 3th day and I'll update the results. Sadly without the graph later.

As Always I want to end with a quote or thought:

You miss every shot you don't take. So keep on shooting. Sometimes it's better to change from Ready Aim fire to Ready FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE aim. The success is for those who take actions and adjust accordingly.

Good luck at the tables.
