Rebooting the Blog

Hey Everyone!

After a summer of working my ass off at a job I hated I'm back to playing poker. I had set a goal at the start of summer to build up a huge bankroll over a short period of time. Unfortunatley real life (work) got in the way and I wasn't able to play nearly as much as I wanted to.

Instead of chasing my goal I just randomly played games at varying stakes, taught myself how to play 7-card stud, which is amazing by the way, and played in a few microstakes tournaments.

I'm back at university now which gives me much more time to play poker as I have far more free time than I did working six 10 hour days a week.

Therefore, I am restarting my bankroll building project! When I logged in I had about $25 left in my account from messing around over the summer, so that is going to be my starting point. I'll be playing the wonderful 2 cent stakes for omaha and NL Hold'em with a few SnG's and microstakes tournaments thrown in.

My goal will be to have a bankroll of $2000 by Christmas this year. I will be moving up in stakes as the bankroll allows, using moderate to tight bankroll management guidelines. Keeping everyone posted along the way.

The current bankroll (I actually started grinding on Sunday) is already $65! I won a few 50 cent turbo 180 man's and cashed in big on zoom PLO. I'm pumped to have such a phenominal start to the project and I'm excited to see if I can reach my goal.

I'd love to hear any feedback the PSOer's have and look forward to letting you guys know how my next weekend grind goes!

I'll see you guys at the micros!

Shane
