Not easy to get to that next level

By: Skeldarkday @ 19:03 (EST) / 293 / Comment ( 2 )

It seems for the past few years I am stuck in the improvement of my poker play.  I know that there are ups and downs in a poker career but these days I don't feel I am improving.  I am mostly a MTT player so always playing in a large field.

So building up a bankroll with MTTs only may not be the best thing to do.  I am not a big cash player but I might need to go the way of the Sit N Go to build a bankroll and use some of it to play my MTTs. I wish I could afford a coach to study my play while I am playing as I think is the only way I can see myself get out of this hole I feel I am in.

I had to take 6 months off of poker as I was getting really frustrated with the way I was losing in a tournament blaming it on bad luck that seemed to me was happening too often.  I knew that being frustrated like that was probably also preventing me from playing my best.

Now that  I am back I hope I will be able to keep my cool and see if I can get over the hump.

I am not a big blogger this being my first one but will try to keep you guys appraise of my situation and tell you if I feel I am climbing that hump.

So see you guys later.
