The Grinding continues

my second $5.50 tournament

After a long while of just playing micro stakes I decided to move up to low because of the incredibly awful play. No matter good I played, I found it impossible to consistantly win with the amount of "donks". So I decided to try a $5.50 sit-n-go.

With a pool of 27 players i placed 2nd and received $36 after playing very tight the entire time, but I also happened to get lucky. For instance...when I thought my opponent had a mid--pair i would shove with high cards and happened to win those races.

When it came down to heads-up, I was standing with a straight with only one card to go and my opponent had AA and a flush draw, and of course he drew his flush.

I definitley gained a lot of experience though! Will probably stick to this level from now on with the exception of playing in the PSO  .
