Dreams come true?

By: Spieler_Kost @ 07:42 (EDT) / 278 / Comment ( 2 )

Yesterday when I was sleeping, I saw a strange dream. I was playing 9-man sit&go ($2 buy-in), on the very first hand I was dealt pocket 7s. I have read many times, that this is not strong hand in early phase. But I went all-in from UTG position. and... every1 after me called. all 9 players shoved.

There were too many opponents engaged, I thought I lost but flop gave me 2 more 7s and I won with quads, and that was very fast win.

When I woke up, I opened PokerStars client and registered for 2$ buy in tournie. (9man). I was shoked when I saw pocket sevens on the very first hand. (UTG). Did not even think, I made all-in and as in my dream, everyone called.

Flop was A62, Turn gave 8 and river was J. one guy won the tournie with pocket aces. I was more surprised than angry.

moral: Even if you see in your dreams that pocket sevens win the whole tournie on the first hand, all you have to do with them is to call BB and if someone pushes all in or makes big raise, just fold. (as I was taught on PSO).
