3 Months in, and whats to show for it

So, let's see what has been happening... I have been away from my blog or some time.

Let's recap:

Feb 2, 2013: Bank: 29.79 FPP: 74.06

Today:

March 30, 2013:  Bank: 25.36 FPP: 86.06

I guess I shouldn't complain too much, I have played when I can, and I haven't done too much damage.  I have been able to play with some of my FPP (I had it over 100).  I had some success with Micromillion sattelites, but nothing at the tourneys.

Thinking about my goals... how am I doing in the open poker league.... rank 15462  and I have probably only played about 5 times....  I need to do better than that... and I hope spring will bring more time.

Anybody want to hear the excuses?!!  I am not a big believer n excuses, but I think it might be entertaining to let you in to a few things going on in my personal life.  Three big things:

1) work, a full time job (sometimes more than full time) takes up a good portion of my day.  Include a today of 3 hours of commuting per day, there is not much time left for anything

2) a lovely daughter of 3.  She is great and a lot of fun.  she takes priority over most things, and I value spending time with her.  So poker is restricted to after bedtime, and on weekends when she wants to play on her own.

3) Home renovation.  I am doing my part in contributing to the economy.  We have live in the same house for 10 years, and haven't done a single thing.  the time has come, and i might as well spend the money.  Wouldn't it be great if I could fund the work via a big tournament win!  I think I am a long way away from that!

I will continue to work on my game, at the micro stakes tables, and trying to satellite in to the 2nd anniversay storm.   I will also spend some time at the freeroll games, this will help me build focus, as most payers there play in strange ways, throwing most poker strategies away in the early stages.

I now have a little confession to make... I am also playing on Full tilt.  I made a $10 transfer to the site to gain some tickets.  I have built a $25 bank there... so I guess I have been builing a bank afterall...

Here's to the long weekend, and more tourney play.

See you at the tables!
