Do I need more than 50 games to give up?

Well,

I decided to track my progress with the 0.25 45 man in a spreadsheet to simplify things.  So after 50 games, I am in negative territory.  Over teh games, I won the tourney twice, and chashed another 4 times.  I final tabled 15 times, so I got knocked out 9 times before the money...

I have decided to take a differnt tack.  Last year, I had success at 9 man and 18 man tournaments.  I haven't started tracking the results yet, because I am on vacation. but I am going to start a new spreadsheet and see if I am right about my intuition that I am ROI positive at the single tables.

Besides working on this, I have been working on the January challenge.  these daily challenges are quite fun to participate in.  I am realizing my weakness are in zoom games...  I haven't figured out how to modify my game play for this format.  I seem to fold way too often, and get short stacked quite quickly.  I also can't seem to get a feel for the game dynamics to get an idea of when to push with less than high ranking hands.   I continue try to play, but I don't put too much money in since I am alway nearly sure that I will be donating my buy in ti the crowd.

See you at the tables!
