Nature of The Beast

By: TEXASKICK @ 12:12 (EST) / 363 / Comment ( 2 )

I played several long hours in the 25,000 million dollar challenge, and am very proud to say that I came in 215th out of  a staggering 39,000 entrants. What I am not proud of is the badly timed idea to play in the PSO afterward. I flaked out super early. Put my pocket 7's up against Spudder47's pocket 9's. We had 5 sitters at the table and things were getting heated earlier than they should've. I knew better than to call , but when I get that tired I have a tendency to say F" IT and I go for it. Someone said I need to follow Brunson's advice and REST when needed. I say  "Yeah, me and every other serious poker player in the world...." Not taking rest when needed is just "THE NATURE OF THE BEAST".
