Cheap and Cheerful

Boo! I went down tilt hill hitting every stone and boulder on the way down. Crumbs. I didn't lose my full bankroll, just $5, but in these micros stakes times you can't be affording to make these terrible mishaps. I needed a clear head so I started today getting my January Daily Challenge underway by opting for cheap $2.20 triple stud tourney. When I play anything other than Hold'em it is purely to put the fun back into poker so of course I didn't win, had some fun and got my tourney ticket . Not only that but yesterday I managed to finish in the money in the Challenges all-in shootout tourney for 30¢, better than nothing right? Well, it gets better, I finished higher up this evening for $1.20 which I am happy about.

After my love affair with triple stud I got back on my cash games and went back to what I knew the best; 5¢/10¢ Hold'em. I skimmed through the tight-aggressive rules again to get it fresh in my mind with 'ABC, it's easy as 123' stuck in my head, terrible I know. But here we are an hour later after I put the rest of my bankroll in which was $5.28 and came out with a headache. Oh and also I turned that money into $23, pretty cool right?

My terrible habit is folding then hovering over my avatar to keep my cards up, by doing this all you focus on is what you would have had if you had called rather than watching what the other players are doing. Once I got over that and didn't care what I had folded things went swimmingly. The only thing that displeased me was nobody would reply to me in the chat box and God I love a good chat. The only reason I can think of is that none of the players were from English speaking countries. Oh well, a good day all round. Only problem is, I want to play more but have work to do, sad times.
