By: Tyirl @ 21:08 (EST) / 354 / Comment ( 2 )

Well, I feel like I should write in this blog. It's all set up already anyways. All I have to do is write in it. How hard can that be? ... Uhh ... hmmm ... Oh, no! First paragraph and writers block~

I think I created a facebook page sometime around 2008. That day of creation was pretty much the last time I ever went to facebook, so I'm not sure how this will work out. I guess we will just have to see.

This is supposed to be an introduction post so I guess I should introduce myself. Hello, I am Tyirl on Pokerstars. My actual name is Tyler. My father wanted to call me Tyrodakhan when I was born so that he could call me "Ty" for a nickname. My mother thought that the name Tyler might be better. Both of my parents have passed long ago, but in regards to this I would just like to say: Thanks Mom. Conversely, if I ever have a kid, then his or her name may end up being Tyrodakhan. This is not because I want to nickname them "Ty", but because I want to be able to yell KHHHHHAAAAANNN!! when they make me mad.

Anyways, when I created my Pokerstars account I took about two seconds to make up a name and Tyirl (Ty in real life) is what I came up with. I wanted to get in to start losing money immediately, and didn't care to take any time to worry about a name. I didn't really realize that it would be a "handle" that would stick with the account forever or the fact that you can't delete an account and make a new one if you wanted to. If I had known, then I would have called myself something cool like "TheLangolier" or "GarethC23". Now a days I'm on the wrong side of 40, and really nobody actually calls me Ty anymore. My sisters might if I ever saw them. I guess you all can call me Tyler, Ty, or Tyirl.

I live in the United States so I can't play for real money on Pokerstars right now, and at this moment in time I work as an over the road truck driver. I am sort of homeless, lol. I live in my truck like some kind of psychotic killer roaming the interstates, and have no physical address. I get my mail in a P.O. Box in Georgia that I visit once every 3 months or so.

I don't know if I can really be a winning poker player. I intend to find out.
