Weekly Analysis - Week 2

By: Underage98 @ 11:31 (EST) / 245 / Comment ( 2 )

EDIT: Almost forgot, my BR is now at $324.

A busy week has come to a very positive close! I haven't had much time to play but last night and after some sleep, today I have managed to come 2nd in two 500cap $0.55 tournaments for around $50 in total. As suggested, I have started playing the Skill Qualifiers and after coming 10th earlier in the week, I came 1st today for a nice sum of $31, leaving me in rank 23!

Weekly Goal Review:

I have made no progress in getting a working HUD up and running. I hope to make a topic later today and contact HEM and PT about tables freezing when running the HUD.

"Focused" Session

I haven't had a session this week where i've been making notes and only playing a couple of tables. I hope to work on this over the next two weeks. I have been very busy this week so i'll let myself off this time!

I haven't specifically watched any videos or read any articles in depth, but I have been quite involved in the forums this week. I plan to make a few posts later today regarding hand reviews and questions I have come across whilst playing. One of these is that I am a bit unsure on how to play medium pocket pairs with say 20BB stacks. Next week I will continue with the Gripsed videos on MTT play.

Hand Reviews

Only reviewed one hand so far this week. I have saved around 7-8 hands to get reviewed later today.

I've been doing the 5 sping and gos a day, and have now completed all 7 challenges so fingers croseed I win something nice in the 100k bonus shootout. I got nothing in the January daily challenges one

I have also wanted to move up the VIP ranks so I went to the VIP calculator and realised that it's not going to happen playing MTTs at the stakes I'm at

To conclude, I'd rate this week a solid B as I have had some good results, but haven't really put enough effort into improving as a player.

See you next week and good luck,
