Costly misclick!

By: Z3phramrill @ 18:53 (EST) / 351 / Comment ( 0 )

Hello again. Have you ever had a costly misclick? Today I was 12-tabling tournaments and I accidentally called an all-in shove of over 50BBs with 26o.

Sometimes misclicks are costly... other times not so much! Always a good feeling to have 2 live cards in a 3 way all-in and I managed to river a straight. I ended up cashing in the tourney for about 22$ which was nice since I bought in using my FPPs.

Other than spweing off stacks with 62o I have also figured out some formats I want to really focus in on. I will be putting a ton of effort into beating 180man turbo SNGs starting at the $2.50 level. In my first 150ish games I am winning by a slight margin. These games are very beatable, even though there are lots of regulars, most of the regs are pretty bad. The key is identifying the type of player you are squaring against, and trying to figure out ranges based on tendencies.

I sometimes play on my tablet, and when I do i play 1-2 tables of 10NL zoom. I also sometimes 4table 10NL zoom when SNGs aren't firing off at a good enough rate (later on at night.) My cash game needs work, I'm a slightly better than breakeven player at the micro stakes, and I would like to put in some good volume to try further identify leaks.

Finally I will still be playing in big guarantee MTTs and the Premier Skill League (which I will probably not qualify for in February, due to not taking it seriously, and not adapting to the playstyle.) provided my time/roll allows for them. I like to use my FPPs for taking shots at bigger tourneys, either through sattelites or directly buying tickets. I directly bought in to the 4-max $27 TCOOP event this morning, and have sattelited into a couple other TCOOP events but haven't played particularly well and haven't cashed.

This brings me to the following goals for February:

1. Put in the volume to keep Goldstar status. Typically I set a goal of about 100 VPPs per session, so if I fit 25 sessions into the month I will keep my goldstar status.

2.10K hands of 10NL Zoom with at least 1BB/100 profit pre-rakeback.

3. Final Table an MTT with over 500 entrants.

4. Have an ROI of 10% or better in the$2.50 180 man turbos.

Thanks for reading, see you at the Final Table!
