I'm so new to this

By: arawrz @ 04:04 (EDT) / 205 / Comment ( 0 )
I just joined poker stars since I saw the ad for the $20,000 free roll tournament last sunday. My bday was the same day so I thought maybe fate would be on my side. Didn't turn out so. But it has sparked an interest in this online poker culture and I'm trying to get the hang of things. My first cash tournie will be a NAPL Division 2 tournie which I won a ticket to. I'm not sure if those even award cash. I've tried reading the guides but its a lot of information to take in at once. I'm a bit weary as we've all heard the horror stories of how much one can lose in this. I'm starting off with no cash invested just to test the water. Bankroll management makes a lot of sense to me but I want to be sure before I throw any of my own green in.
