AA vs AQ, flop QQQ........... Doesnt do much good for my mind while im in the middle of my own poker  version of the great depression. I try and remind myself that i was given a similar hand 2 days ago and was on the winning end but it doesnt help.  Im starting to call with anything and everything, Im trying to trap everytime i have strong hands and end up getting out flopped or rivered. Im playing so loose im afraid ill come undone any minute. Is this down swing ever gonna end?........

Its Thursday afternoon. I arrive home from work and my Dad tells my that the local hotel is running a poker night every Thusday night. I mutter something like "im a donk, no use trying to play live when i cant win with aces online" and head to my room to shower and change. As I walk into my room i look at my laptop and cant fathom spending another night losing my bankroll on PokerStars and decide to try my luck down the pub.

I arrive at the pub and see some familliar faces and some new ones. There are around 30 starters which means 5 places paid, winner gets $110 and entry into $15000 tourney in november. After 3 and a half hours of play ive made it to the final table with the chip lead! I'm given a keyring as a momento.....SWEEEEEET! lol in another 45 mins We are in heads up play! 2 all ins later i finsh 2nd and earn myself $70 for my $11 buy-in and a good start to the series!

Yesterday I arrive home to find my internet credit has expired so i have to recharge...... I decide to deposit into my poker account aswell, i Put down $65 as im feeling confident after my live win! I go play some heads up for awhile and take a quick $50 off my opponent. with my bankroll at $105 i go to the .25/.50 $10 cap games and win another $40 bringing my B/R up too $145 i escape with my cash and are looking for a new table when i notice the redspade symbol at the 1/2 no limit table and decide to check it out....................Its FROSTY! The FROSTY. What an opportunity! I take a seat with $80 the first hand someone shoves all in with around $80 Frosty calls villian AA vs Frosty AK the legend lost this one but i was happy to see him reload! nothing much happened  for the next  15 mins or so when i find myself on the button with AK I bet out $3 and get 2 of them frosty! Im in a hand with one of my heroes and its looking good! Flop comes A36 i check frosty bets $6 and is called i decide to push all in and everyone folds.... I won a hand against FROSTY! LMFAO I know its not much of a sample size but im taking it anyway! (i will put the hand up in the forums im going through a 100 trying to find it at the moment) I had my B/R up too $160 at one stage and ended the night at $99.94, 323 FPPs and a win against Frosty!

I spose what im trying to express through this blog is that when your at your deepest darkest place, the light shines especially bright!
