zoom, zoooom, zooooooooooom,...........all gone

By: caulker73 @ 17:39 (EDT) / 112 / Comment ( 0 )

....had a go at one of the zoom games. Very aptly named, 5 dollars, 8 hands, gone.

Quick summary.....A9o with an A on the flop LOST to A5o that developed into a straight
KQo with a Q high low flop LOST to 89 two pair
                             AKo.......no play
99........low flop LOST to AA (think this was the only hand I played badly)

Now........while I do believe Pokerstars claim that the game doesn't favour particular players, I'm starting to become convinced that most hands dealt contain at least two very playable hands and the problems then are....is/are the other very playable hand/hands, better than mine ? Am I playing against a pro standard player who is draining my stack? Am I playing against a numbty who is playing a bad hand out of position that will develop into the winner ? or was I beat from the flop ?

Without the benefit in standard games of being able to sit back and watch how the other players structure bets and play hands, it's really a game of chance, like bingo, or the lottery. I don't get it.

Maybe if I'd won 4 playable hands one after the other, I would think it was the greatest development in poker since............

Anyway, having lost 4......don't think I'll be playing zoom any time soon

Anybody had a better first experience ?

                            Happy Flopping,       Regards
