first day of real play...

By: ceasar ceaz @ 14:08 (EDT) / 246 / Comment ( 0 )

I had my first real money plays today, (a full day around 5+hrs) and it went all wrong! I loss the bulk of my uploaded bankroll. I feel like the information from two books i've read and the online training from the poker school (eg, odds, outs, premium cards, nuts, strights, etc) has not really helped. I've spent most my time folding and while im doing that the blinds are eating away slowly each hand of folding. And when I do get good cards, either the pot is too small for it to feel like ive made a profit or the community cards dont go in my favour. For the whole time of playing i most likely won up to 8 hands. I played agrressive and tight but still lose! Practice with fake money and real money are 100% two diffrent things. But I will learn and will not let it break me or the bank. We all got to start somewhere.
