Chefsteve67's Poker Cook Book

Well this is it for me! Im taking the plunge into online poker. Its not like havent been hear before, but my New Years resolution is to become a better MTT poker player. But then who isnt here, wanting the same results? The first step was to realize where I have been weak. Now that I have recognized my poker faults, I started with a clean slate this year. First game of the year for me, was a 90 player sit n go for 25 cents. Two hours in trips over trips! An hour later, I clawed my way back up and I made the final table and busted out in 8th place. Another rule I will remember, not to put my poker life on the table for one hand. I  managed to only play 18% of my hands, and had won 77% of my pots at show down. So when I was in, I got in good! The next sit n go was today. A single table, 9 players, $1.25 buy in. Little more than an hour later, and I was heads up, huge chip lead, and took it down with ace queen.  A five dollar pay out, plus knock outs. Not a bad start, wont push my luck! Speaking of luck, its amazing how many guy/girls believe luck governs poker play and out come? My strenghts, odds, my outs, and where I'm in, during the flop, turn, and river. Patience has been my biggest gift! I can sit for hours folding hands all day, laying in the weeds, waiting to pull the trigger, when someone steps in to my sites. Im an avid hunter, and I think my ability to lay in wait, pays huge dividens at the table. Ok thats it for now......
ps. ignore the spelling mistakes, unless your a school teacher.
