My First Week at PSO

By: chin14609 @ 12:26 (EST) / 159 / Comment ( 0 )
Its been interesting to say the least. I have been playing for many years in local leagues and local games, but never bothered with the lessons. Played more by feel. So success, but mostly heartache. After reading through the lessons, the big yellow lightbulb went off.

My first week has been a bit erratic, but i started with a new style this morning that I hope will be beneficial in the long run. It seems to be working.

PLayed this morning and folded most of my hands. I played much more by position than feel and looking back at the hands that I folded, I would not have one any of those hands. Lasted till into the 160's out of 800+.

In all I saw 68 hands, played 11 and won 8 of them. I ended at 16% of hands played.

I thinking a bit tight against my norm of mid 20's, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

Good luck to all in the league! I am happy to take advice and listen to better players than me! I'm here to learn!

Also, entering my first deep stack liver casino tourny next week. Any advice? I've played cash (1-2) in the casino, but never a tourny. Your thoughts are very welcome!

See you at the tables!
