why risk so many chips early in tournament

By: chrsp42 @ 12:00 (EDT) / 457 / Comment ( 5 )

i guess i am 1 of probably most people that wonder why someone is willing to risk their chip stack for so few early on in tournaments. I don't understand the reasoning or rational behind such plays. Am i wrong in thinking that say 60 or 90 chips is worth risking 1500+, if so can someone please explain the logic behind this. i see so many people everyday in the pso leaague do this move. i think it's a foolish thing to do so early in the event. Plese let me know if i'm the one that is wrong in this thinking or try to explain why anyone would do tthis. thanks this is my first blog so please forgive me if this isn't what it's meant for
