Post 3 Grinding up in the Micros

By: clwick @ 15:27 (EDT) / 207 / Comment ( 1 )

This post will be much shorter than the others because I am a little rattled by how bad I have been running since trying to step up to 10NL.

Some interesting trends:

After 10K hands and 39 times getting AA I am down $12.
Same with KK down $11.
Should be substantially up with both these pockets, I never slow play them.

I am going to take the rest of the day off and start fresh tomorrow.  Lost $15 pot with AA to JJ, flop K, 9,3 and villian shoves blind with JJ, I call with AA.. turn Q and river 10 giving him a straight.
Lost a preflop shove he had 10,10 to my KK and I lost $10.
Got stacked with my pocket 3s flopping trips, he flopped trip 5s.

Down $14 for the day, but loosing about $14 everyday adds up.  Im hoping this downswing turns around fast or I am going to have to go back to 5NL, 10K hands of downswing is enough hopefuly it turns around.

-On a side note I have gotten much better at 3 betting and 4 betting during my downswing as its the only thing that has been able to combat it.
