Today's Noon (Central Time) PSO Tourney

What a weird tourney this was for me. First off - apologies to everyone sharing my table(s) in my last 30min or so of play today. I had no less than FOUR, count 'em - FOUR all-in saves and/or saves on my last few chips! I realize how lucky that was and I'm sure some were glad to see me go after that! LOL! At least once, I was down under 80 chips and stayed in with a lucky flop/board to claim a pot or a split pot. I was really expecting to be out at about position 400 or so, but I actually got up to around 1300 chips and managed to survive to position 225 and even just managed positive points (pretty good as I was over 1700pts going in!) The funny thing was, I finally went all in with QJs, hit a Q and a J on the flop for top 2 pair - wow - another save - but no - I got beat by a straight! Well, I guess I couldn't expect any more miracles! LOL! What I took from this was: 1) Never give up - you never know what can happen! 2) These tourneys can be a LOT of fun! 3) Despite what some people say in the forums, you can learn things here if you pay attention. I still consider myself a rookie poker player, so I know there is an endless wealth of knowledge still to learn about this game - but so far it's been a lot of fun! And yeah, I get ticked off with donkey plays and bad beats too - but overall PSO has been a great experience so far - and for the most part everyone has been pretty positive at the tables. I hope to chat with a lot more of you out there on the tables! Good luck all!!
