End of month summary

The month of November has come and gone.  At the end looking back, I have mixed feelings about PSO.  On the one hand, PSO is a great way for someone with no money in an account to gind it out and build a small bankroll.  Or if you are very lucky, you could actually make some real money.  This can only happen, however, if you finish in the top several places.  On the other hand,  for the most part, it is a donk fest where 80% of the people enrolled are not serious about poker.  This presents a problem to the 20% actually trying.  It does give those that are trying some perspective on how to survive in a tournament. But it also hinders playing your game if you are playing for points, since the suckouts are so common.  Making the right move gets punished all to often.
In summary, the time invested to play the way it takes to do well in the points, is not worth it for someone that has money in their account.  I was as high as 36th, knocked down to 175th, climbed back up in the top 40, then eventuall finished just out of the $50 range.  I made $30, but a lot of time was invested.  You also have to keep in mind, the type of play required in PSO is not normal tournament play.
With all this said, will I play again? Yes probably so.  I wont take is as seriously as I did in November.  I will play my game and the points will fall out as they do.
