Good new and bad news for me. I finally got a job!!! Now I wont be able to play poker all day and most of the night. Poker will have to go to the back burner. Sadly, I was not able to become good enough to make a living. Although I do believe my game has gotten better. I find my biggest weaknesses are being gun shy of the river and not always moving in when I should for fear of losing the big hands.
Going back to work will relieve a lot of the stresses I have been dealing with. I apolgize to any player(s) that I might have gone off on. But, when playing and trying to win enough to pay bills, I took things much to seriously.
Poker School and the NAPL leagues as well as winning a satellite to the Sunday 1/4 Million and cashing a small amount and cashing a small amount from the Lamborghini games, gave me the largest bankroll I'd had. I'm sure that I mismanaged my bankroll and should have tried to play in higher buy in tournaments where placing (not having to win) would have paid out better than the micro stakes games I played in. I did however, cash out $75.00, making a profit of $25.00 from my two intial $25.00 deposits (before it became such a hassle to deposit more money).
So now I have to go back to work and playing much less poker and most likely very few if any PSO games. Unless I make the money in every PSO game I play on weekends or when available to me and not have any negative point finishes (not going to happen) it just doesn't seem to be the best game for me to play.
To the folks at the Cowboy Corral games: Thank you for the great games. If possible I will try to play in the weekend games. I'll really miss the Cowboy's Corral Bounty Game, but my work schedule is a swing shift.
Today is Wednesday, so I have until Sunday night to hit the big one. ha ha ha ha ha ha.........
Good luck to all and don't turn your back to the river.
