Hey Guys,

Been playing the crazy PSO open league this week just to see if i could get into the money with a couple of days left before the finish free money eh should never so no to that . I might give it more consideration next month as the top prize is pretty tasty if you can get those games in

Wow it is pretty tough and so many spewy players . I have only really given it one proper go the league so pretty pleased with how i have played . Made some huge folds just to get those beautiful points it is has been a week of crazy folds and i have totally changed my  way of playing hands .

I have adapted a style just for the league well i say style i doubt there is a term of play to decribe it in poker it is certainly not something i would give lessons on !! . I doubt playing the league has helped my game in anyway to be honest . It might even have put my game back . Only time will tell .

Been scoring points on a regular basis so far . But it is tough to change the way i play as i am a little aggressive .  i learned very early on to be a little more cautious espically when you are not sure what kind of player they are whale does not come close !!! maybe some sort of squid creature might be more accurate . Got busted with KK just outside points and it cost me so i took that and learned from it . On the plus side made some great reads to gain me some chips .

Be under no illusion the league is tough with so much play being loose and not everyone is playing for points . One thing i do know is you have to learn to fold even monsters pre if it means scoring points or busting with minus points . It gets tougher as you gain position up the league as you are rewarded less points . Anyone that has been consistent to win the league and been high up the table has a new respect from me . Because you have to be consistent and put in the time to play alot of games to get there lots of dedication is required . So if you have tilt issues and fold issues might be worth a try if for nothing else .

Maybe i might be wrong with what i said about it not helping my game . I have had some more tilt issues this week so focusing on the league may have helped . As i am determined to get into the money with so little time left and if i tilt i do not get points .

One hand comes to mind was my AA getting busted i was down to 2bb out of points  which i would have lost -12 points  but i turned that into a save +4 so i am pretty proud of that had a couple of saves like that turning 3+ points into +30 with 7bb . Anyways guys just my thoughts on the open league take care and good luck at the tables
