First update.

The challenge has not been going well so far.  It started ok and the middle went well but the 3rd day, which was last night New Zealand time, did not go well.

If I’m looking on the bright side, at least it gave me a chance to work on my other goals!  My tilt was definitely tested yesterday and many a time I have a bunch of comments written up in the chat box but I managed to never hit the ENTER button.   In that sense last night was a success.

In order to control my tilt I am making a conscience effort when in all in situations to try and act the same way I would in a live situation.  So no matter what I try and keep the same straight face whether I win or lose.  When I am at a casino or a home game I like to keep as calm as possible when I lose and when I WIN, I like to do this as a type of respect to my opponents.  I know when I am in the losing situation I don’t want to see the winner overly celebrating.

Hand #1

This hand is possibly pretty standard and boring but I found it put me in a situation where I wasn’t sure if I had done the correct thing or not on both the flop and the river.

I would love to hear people thoughts about the call on the flop and the check on the river?  I think after calling on the flop and the villain showing weakness I possibly should have bet for value on the river rather then checking scared.

Hand #2

This hand is pretty basic all I am really asking is am I being too tight in this situation with a small stack?

After the frustrating day I decided that it would be a good time to start the last part of my goals. So I went for a run.  There is a small fad starting in New Zealand at the moment called GPeniSing so I had my first go, I have posted the result below.  It is pretty immature but I have never claimed to be very mature and it helps the motivation of getting through a run without any sort of shortcuts.

My GPeniS route in centra Invercargill, New Zealand

Anyway here are my current results.

Starting bankroll: $181.84
Current Bankroll: $171.40
Profit: -$10.44
Yearly VPPs to date: 1004.82

Daily breakdown:
20/1/13: -$5.45
21/1/13: $17.62
22/1/13: -$22.61

Good luck in everyone else’s Time Vault challenges and thank you very much for reading my Blog.
