I draw an Ace in my opening hand and I say "yeah, I'm going to win this one". So I raise big pre-flop.
Then I realize it is an Ace-2. Pretty low. Oh well, an Ace always wins, right?? The flops includes an Ace.
Thank God, now I have it made, so I go all in, want to get some money on board. Quess what, my opponent has an Ace too...an Ace-King! So I lose big. This happens over and over to me. I even had to split a pot once because we both had 3 Aces!! I'm learning that the power of an Ace is mostly as a "kicker", you can't beat an Ace for that! Unless of course your opponent has a pair of Aces...
