MicroMillions 53 NLHE 6-max Ante Up

By: fuzzmuff @ 19:04 (EDT) / 48 / Comment ( 0 )

I satellite into this one for 70FPP, and soon realise I should let the maniacs bet for me. QT brings a big pot against 62 bluffing. AT v J3c wins more but pretty much card dead after the first hour. Every hand I have misses, even AK, though I do win that hand as 63 calls down to the river.

I hit two pair with 97 to finally get above my starting stack against T4 from the same guy who called down with 63. I will have to be careful with this chap who is hitting everything and is on 34k.

With the blinds a constant 5/5 the antes are up to 125 and my stack is 5.3k. I get AJ UTG and raise to 125. Mr 63 calls and the flop is AQ8. I decide my chips are going in all the way but just bet three quarter pot on each street, for sure he calls down with A6, on turn 8 and river J. I’m up to 12.2k.

Out in a flash with AQ in the HJ, when after I raised pf, all the chips end up in the middle, after the flop of 52Q with two clubs then goes on to river a flush  for the BB with A9c. Not nice at all. I finish in 2115th place.

That’s another big stack done.

Could I have avoided that? Maybe, but I do seem to throw a big stack away too often these days.
