There are some terrific people here

By: fuzzyamp @ 19:08 (EDT) / 327 / Comment ( 0 )
I have been lucky to be able to play in at least once during all 6 daily tournament times. This means that I have managed to play with people from all over the world. I recently had some very pleasant conversations with people in countries that I never would otherwise had.

In tournament news, I am in a bit of a slump. I don't think I am playing especially bad. I'm never the best player at the table but I am also not the worst. I am getting my chips in when I am the favourite and folding correctly most of the time I am not. I can't seem to get past about the 40 minute point in a tourney. The ranking has subsequently taken a bit of a hit. With 10 days left in the month, I am quite a few places out of qualifying for the Elite League next month. Unless there are some terrific finishes upcoming, I might have to wait until next month.
