Broke $70 on my bankroll

so like my main post is titled, im doing the starting from 0 challenge.  I won 65 cents in the hubble weekly tourney and ended up building that up to over $250 (all from grinding small tables and building up my stack, no other freeroll money) I started playing fairly big stakes ($6 18 man turbos was my speciality) until I lost a ton in a row and got mad tilt and ended up dropping to probably $50ish.  Brought it back up to $200, dropped down again and decided to cash $100 so I would focus on mainting good bankroll management.

so I had $30 to work with and I finally brought it up to $70 after some ups and downs.

Today I played a 2 round turbo heads up shootout, beat the 1st round with some close calls (blinds got big, started shoving and got lucky, finally picked up KK and got him all in).  round 2 was I was not so lucky.  The guy I was playing was super aggresive, I raise preflop he call. I c-bet he would shove pretty much every time until I was down 1000 chips (you start wtih 3000 incase you havent played before)  I finally pick up good hands and he stops his aggresive playing and I win the minimum.

I pick up a good hand, AQ clubs so I raise he call.  Flop comes 2 clubs and not much happening, I check he bets I 3bet he calls.  Turn pairs the board and I think my hand is probably good.  I shove my last 1500 chips and he calls.  he turns over Q2 of diamonds and the turn gave him a flush draw.  so he calls of a good stack of his chips with queen high and 1 card to come hoping for the flush.  well somehow he must have known it was coming because he hit it. so ridiculous.  im not that great with the poker odds but a flush draw or hit a pair is like a 10 outer with 1 card I believe is around 20%  so it wasnt a completely holy crap hand but still I should have had it.  so many donkeys this guy floated wayy to much and probably bluffed me every hand before.  but now i have a new heads up strategy to try.

so lost some money there, decided to go to the cash tables.  I put $2 at 2 2/5 cent tables figuring id rather lose $2 playing cash tables and have the opportunity of winning more.  Played pretty aggresive at one and won about $1, then the other one Im also up $1 and i pick up some rockets in pretty late position.  Deep stack player comes in for a pretty big raise, I reraise hoping to get it all in with him.  a 3rd player (probably in the blinds) reraises so original raiser folds :(  we end up getting it all in preflop he had Queens so I won a hefty pot and was back to where I was before I lost a few sit and gos

so I just went to my normal 1/2 cent tables put down $1 at each and wanted to see if I could break the 70 mark (I was at 69.50)  I lost my first dollar pretty quick (one player shoved a few hands in a row, i picked up AK suited and he had 8s, i didnt improve) at the other tables I won a big pocket with my favorite hand 55 and hit a set vs KK.  lost some money on busted draws so was pretty much at my starting amount.

lost another stack AQ suited raise preflop BB calls.  flop 68Q I have a bad feeling that he had 68, and sure enough he did and I couldnt improve.  so back down a little.

ended up winning a big hand QK vs AJ or something and I kept bluffing he kept calling and I finally got there on the river with a queen to take his stack.  So I finally looked at the cashier and I broke the $70 mark!  hopefully I can keep it up and break $100 for a third time soon

So my lesson is:  Just play your game, bad beats gonna happen but if you play long enough the better player always comes out on top
