Long time, no see.

OK, so heres the thing: I've been away a while. Well, from the PSO and poker where buy-ins are concerned, anyway, save to use the SCOOP tickets I won in the WBCOOP and ocassional freerolls. Which is ironiclly when I kinda stoped playing, just after the WBCOOP.

Despite a thoroughly good showing (well, for me, anyway!) when I scored 4 SCOOP tickets and a 6-max final table, I just lost enthusiasm for poker. I was getting the kind of cynicism I reckon we all get from time to time every now and then, to some degree. Card deadness, bad/bad-ish beats and downswing in general had me feeling a bit bitter. So I figured I'll withdraw my roll, call down and only play freerolls if ever the mood took me, which I've been doing for the last 4 or so months.

But now, I'm getting the enthusiasm back again. So come start of July, I'll be putting my roll back on Stars and getting back to it. And whilst I'm at it, I would tick off an item on my bucket list that I put on my new years goal list: playing live poker. I've been planing a trip into London (I live in Essex) and including a trip to a casino seemed an obvious thing to do whilst I'm there. Whilst I don't have a date set in stone yet, I'll probably be doing it within the next couple of weeks. What I do know, though, is the where. I figured why not do it in what is probably Londons, probably Britains, most famous casino: the Grosvenor Victoria, a.k.a The Vic. Should be fun! After I've been, I'll be sure to post another blog on it.

I'll also be getting back into the forum here more often, as well as blogging again whenever some random poker thought or event plagues my mind sufficiently. Until then, I hope you all have happy shenanigans at the tables.
