Sunday Storm

By: higgi17 @ 06:26 (EST) / 130 / Comment ( 0 )

Another deep run in this weeks Sunday Storm ended in the usuall way with elimination just as it was getting juicy.
Throughout the tournament I had managed to not get my chips in behind untill the moment I went out.  For the first time in a long time I saw an awful lot of premium hands which held up.  AA 3 times which managed to get set all in and hold for double ups.
With 2300 oponents left from 48972 I found aces again and this time with a 350K stack managed to get them all in vs my opponents KK.  They held again and I found myself 234/2292 and with the numbers still reducing heavily at this point felt I could go on a very deep run.
The hands soon dried up and I was forced to make the standard positional raises in order to steel the huge 20K/40K Blinds.
After another hour or so 6 hours into the comp I found A2 in the cut off.  With blinds at 40K/80K with a 10K ante I shoved my last 570K all in to steel the 200K in the pot but unfortunately the BB woke up with AJ and it was all over for another week.
I have had a few deep runs in this comp but just cant get that final push going to hit the big  time.
For my 192nd place I gained $225.27 which was duely smashed in on the High/Low tables the following day.
Now its back to grinding the low stakes again in order to try the next spin up.
