Some things never change

Some things never change.  To point,   I have been eliminated from 5 tournys the last 3 days when the field was small enough that 80% of those left would get paid.  In other words I was close to the bubble and in all cases I could have sat out until the bubble broke.
In EVERY case I was ahead or had good reason to think I was ahead and in 4 cases lost to suckouts on river.  The one case without the suckout was when  I had AK diamonds vs.  AK  spades and the flop came 3 spades.
I forgot when that close to the money I need to first make the money.  In no case was I in danger of being blinded out.   I cost me over $50 in lost entry fees plus the additional winnings.
It is a lesson reinforced ,   again.
