Snappin' with the Krispies

Where am I? What am I doing here?

By: jkrispies @ 01:09 (EST) / 235 / Comment ( 0 )

I'm now starting my second month in the PSO (3rd-ish month at the site), and I've learned a few things thus far:

1. Tight Aggressive works well for me, although I don't follow the S&G rules 100% (yet).
2. Playing when I'm distracted, sick, and/or drunk does not work well for me.
3. AFQ is important, but I'll be darned if I want to bother figuring out what mine is.

No, I'm not "qualified" to win the real PSO money because I'm not gambling with real cash.  I'm over it, so you should be too.  Fact is, I'm viewing this as practice for playing folks in person.  Once I've nickel and dimed my way up to $12 in real money, then I'll go ahead and start stealing the blinds of all the millionaires who frequent this site... who play the buck games.  By the way, I'm at $2.18 as of this writing.  Please have mercy and don't hack my account for that bankroll.  I put in a solid $.03 per hour to earn it, which I believe is less than federal prisoner rate.

In the meanwhile, I'll keep doing the PSO tourneys just to play against quality opponents and see how I do on the ranking scale.  No, I won't be at the top because I'm not playing three tourneys a day, but if I'm in the upper 25%, I'll be satisfied.
