The WBCOOP Day 3

By: jon011 @ 04:31 (EST) / 446 / Comment ( 1 )

WBCOOP had three events yesterday. I participated (was registered) in the 8-Game.

Day 2 results:

Event-04 NLHE/PLO Turbo: 1. salvasul 2. Shhmenaru' 3. Sonnya Yade

Event-05 NLHE Shootout: 1. 1betur0ut 2. hookenful 3. hikewne

Event-06 8-Game: 1. skylerdyck 2. LUISRO23 3. amparobur

My plan to play the 8-Game didn't go exactly how I expected. I reached home only about 30 minutes before the start of the tournament and I wasn't very sober. Somehow while clicking something in the web an 8-Game tournament window popped up and I started crushing the table. I quickly improved to 6000 chips with a 5000 starting stack by winning a big pot in Triple Draw and scooping two pots in Omaha H/L. Unfrotunately I passed out after that only to wake up several hours later and discover that I finished 125th, just 17 places shy of money. Once again Team Pokerstars Pro made it to final table, this time it was frosty012.

Hand of the day:

Failry standard play till the Second Draw, where I made 86 and capped. However, I considered him having rather strong hand when he raised me after Third Draw and I just called. I think my opponent lost more chips than he should have, because he clearly overplayed 87.

Day 3 plans:

Event-09 PLO H/L 6-Max. This is the only WBCOOP tournament I consider playing today. It is really a time to start collecting those leaderboard points.
