This blog is no way shape or form related to poker , but a documentation , a reminder for myself to remember the day and the days following in which my life has been changed for the rest of my life. There are a few people that know about the events I'm about to explain as to why noone has seen me at the tables in the last week , if anyone was woundering .
On December 20th, 2010 my mom woke me up at 8:30 a.m.(central time) and tells me that my dad has dialed 911 due to extreme stomach pains she was having after a routine procedure she had done the Friday before for a blod clot . So I get up out of bed my mom is in the bathroom fixing her hair before the paramedics got to our house, i went in there rubbed her back and she gave me a look like , well like she knew what was about to happen . At the time I thought this is going to be just another hospital trip for her  , she has had lot of health issues past few years, and she'll be back later on that night . Litlle did I know that was going to be the last time I'll ever see my mom up and moving around ever again . After a few hours go by my dad calls me and tells me she has a proferated bowel which she was going into emergency surgery for that afternoon ,  she came out fine , her vitals were all normal and they took her into ICU for recovery . At 3 am ,the 21st .,that Tuesday morning she went into a massive stroke in which she never woke up from. When I say never woke up from she did not pass but the part of her brain that tells you when to wake up and when to go to sleep was severly damaged . We just found out yesterday that she has a zero chance of ever waking up and we took her off all life support and today she was moved to the hospice unit . It has been a roller coaster of a week emotional wise , but I have come to grips with the fact that mom has completed her circle  of life , we are now just waiting out the days till her organs give out.  I'm not looking for any sympathy from anyone but i do ask anyone that reads this post to cherish your parents and your loved ones every day of your life in good and bad times , don't be afraid to tell them 3 simple words , I love you , every chance you get cause their will be a day when you will not be able to do so .

Conclusion ;  I probably won't be on here much for the rest of this month because I will be at the hospital watchin my mom sleep till she takes her last breath , but I plan on coming back with a vengence next month so watch out cause I'll have an extra special person in heavin , my best friend my mom , on my side..I also will be active so I'll be looking to cash as high as i can.lol..For those who made it all the the way through this book I just wrote good luck at the tables and see you all soon
