This Video´s Great Because…

I have watched the video “Evaluating post flop part 1 by Randy Lew” I think it’s useful to learn from a top online player. I reviewed the post flop action because it is one of the weaknesses for beginners. Knowing how to evaluate your hand post flop is critical. It was helpful to me since it has been a long time without playing holdem because I was very fond to Omaha and other games.

The video explains very well the strength of made hands (top pair, two pair, etc ) and drawing hands such as one pair expecting to improve to two pair or trips, gut- shot, double gutter, OESD, flush draw, combo draws, and so on.

Now I have realized the strength of the combo draws with to get more aggressive action on the flop, assuming that my opponent only has a decent top pair.

The part one of this video was a tremendous insight for evaluating the 60 % of the information f your hand. With that in mind and some reads about your opponents you can then decide whether to continue or not on the flop or use your common sense to bet the full pot, raise if you think someone is making a play on you or muck your hand if you find yourself in a marginal situation.
